Shipping & Delivery


MM Furniture offers free curb side delivery for all orders over $1000 to our local area customers, and Free Curbside delivery of most product lines within the 48 continental states. Our local delivery zone covers the area within 200 miles from our Wilmington, DE location (zip 19803).

In general, shipping charges are based on product weights, the distance shipped from our Wilmington, DE store, and the method of shipping.

When applicable, the shipping charges will be displayed for you before you finalize your order and will be based on the level of service you selected.

Additional shipping fees might be required for difficult locations such as remote islands, and congested cities.


Shipping time is subject to change depending on the availability of stock. For expediting services please contact our sale staffs.

  • Local zone (within 45 miles from zip 19803), orders/In Stock: within 10 days
  • Local Zone (within 200 miles from zip 19803), orders/In Stock: 2-4 weeks
  • National zone (more than 250 miles from 19803), 3 to 5 weeks.
  • International Orders: Please be aware that while we ship out international orders in the time quoted, shipments may be delayed due to customs clearing.



  • One delivery person. They may require your assistance for large/oversized items.
  • Delivery of your new furniture as closest to your garage or front door. Normally, the furniture is shipped on a wood pallet.

  • Smaller items will ship with UPS. We cannot ship to PO Boxes


We offer expedited deliveries, guaranteed in 7-10 business days. Please be available for the carrier to contact you in order to set up a delivery date within that time frame. The following items cannot be expedited: Custom Orders, backordered items, extremely fragile items, certain manufacturers, and international deliveries.


We offer convenient shipping to most destinations worldwide. If you live outside the continental United States and would like to place an order, we would be happy to assist you. We also offer very competitive rates on shipping to Canada.


Customers can pick up orders from either of our physical store locations. Applicable state sales taxes will be charge at the pick-up. Pick-up times are restricted to the following hours:

  • Delaware Store: Pick-up Hours Tuesday through Friday from 11am to 7pm

All pickups from the Delaware store must be coordinated with MM Furniture customer service person to ensure that product is available there at the pick-up time requested. No weekend pick-up hours available at our Delaware store.


All orders are insured by the delivering freight companies or UPS against loss/damages, at no additional charge. MM Furniture will file all claims with the shipping company on behalf of the customer, and keep the customer updated on any progress. You can rest assured that we will always do our best to win the claim for the customer. In order to help us do so, we will request that the customer provide photos, details, and all relevant information pertaining to the claim. In the event a damage claim is denied by the shipping company, we will cover the cost of repair, OR send out a replacement if the damaged item is in stock. In the event a claim is denied, we reserve the right to decide which method to follow, replacement or repair. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, we may opt to have the product returned and issue a refund to the customer.


Optional but recommended. We offer additional insurance which will guarantee that in the case of loss or damage, your claim process will be expedited and settled quickly, at our expense (before claim is settled with the freight carrier). You will still be required to submit to us the supporting materials necessary to file a claim. Once receive, the claim will be fully resolved within 7-10 business days. This process would normally take up to 90 days. MM Furniture will stand by the customer and support your claims whether or not you choose to purchase the additional insurance.


Customer must be present to accept and sign for freight shipments. In the case of very large/heavy items, Customer is responsible for providing help to move the package from the Lift Gate. The delivering carrier should call you at least 24 hrs in advance to coordinate a delivery day and time. If the freight lines cannot reach you to schedule an appointment, they will leave the package outside of your home. Customer may be responsible for re-consignment fees and return freight charges if delivery appointment is missed. MM Furniture is not responsible in the event of poor coordination/timing of the delivering carrier. We will intervene at the buyer's request in case of problems with the carrier.


With any incident of damage, whether small or large, it is always best to call us by phone the moment a problem is discovered at 1-800-991-6306. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect all freight for damage and/or carton damage at the time of delivery. In order for a loss or damage claim to be honored by the delivering carrier, you must follow the following guidelines below. If the guidelines are not strictly adhered to, your claim will be denied:

1. Inspect the package and contents upon receiving. If you are unable to open the box immediately, please note "PENDING INSPECTION" on the freight bill.

2. If your package is not on a pallet or it looks like it has been mishandled, please take the time to inspect it carefully. If the package has been altered or has visible damage, the driver is obligated to wait while you unpack before signing off. In order to have the item shipped back free of charge, the driver must sign off that the package was damaged or mistreated in transit.

3. We advise that you have a camera ready to take detailed pictures of the package when it arrives to you.

4. Keep all original cartons and packaging until you have inspected everything. We cannot accept returned merchandise unless it's packaged in its original cartons.


All items are fully insured by the freight carriers against damage in transit. The notation of such damage on the delivery receipt is required to enact a claim against the carrier’s insurance. Options are limited in cases when the delivery receipt is not annotated with all issues. In the rare event that you receive a damaged item the following steps must be taken:

1. Upon accepting the merchandise which may have damage, annotate the delivery receipt with any discrepancies on merchandise received.

2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery so that we may begin to remedy any issues.

3. Take pictures of any noticeable damage to the package or the merchandise.

4. Severely damaged products may be refused and sent back with the carrier only after contacting MM Furniture by phone at 1-800-991-6306.

Having the damaged furniture in your home allows us to remedy the issues more quickly and also provides you with furniture to use in the meantime. MM Furniture will restore items to their original quality or replace your damaged furniture. Any damage must be reported to us within 48 hrs of delivery.
